Pastor

Rev. Charles Payne has pastored Calvary Baptist Church for 31 years. He is commonly known as “Cleburne’s Pastor!” He is a graduate of Liberty University! He and his wife Judy have three grown daughters who all serve in the church. He is also proud of his 6 grandchildren.

Youth Pastor

Our Youth Pastor, Earl Sides has been at Calvary for 5 years. Bro. Earl is a Cleburne native that knows Cleburne, the people and teenagers well. He attended Arlington Baptist College and now is enrolled in Faith Bible Institute. He has 23 years of experience working with teenagers all over the country. Along with his wife Niki, they have a passion and love for teenagers that shows. The Sides’ have three boys, Cody, Colin, and Christian

Minister of Music

Eddy Carrell and his wife, Pam have been faithful church members since 1987. He is a graduate of Faith Bible Institute, Monroe, Louisiana. He has served as a deacon, children’s minister, bus director, and teacher. He currently is serving full time as Minister of Music and AWANA Commander. The Carrells have two grown children, Justin and Marci.

Educational Director

Donnie Williams has been on our staff since 1983, serving in various capacities. Mr. Williams is a native of Cleburne and ‘grew up’ in our church. He is the former Pastor of two successful churches for over nine years and the former County Auditor of Johnson County for over fourteen years. He and his wife Becky, also love directing the ministries of the Auditorium Bible Class of our church. They have five grown children, that reside in different cities across the State. Mr. Williams holds a Graduate of Theology from Baptist Bible College, Springfield, Mo. and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from LeTourneau University, Longview, Texas.

Secretary

Pam Carrell has served as a faithful AWANA leader and secretary since 1993. She has been church secretary since 1997.
