Frequently Asked Questions

What time are your Sunday Worship Services?
Our 8:45 a.m. worship service takes place in the Main Auditorium building. It is a traditional service with a blend of hymns and choruses. Our 11:00 a.m. worship service takes place in the Main Auditorium building as well. This service is also a traditional service with a blend of hymns and choruses. During this time the Calvary singer adult choir performs. Our pastor, Rev. Charles E. Payne, offers the same wonderful message at both services. At 6:00p.m. on Sunday evenings we have a wonderful worship service in the Main Auditorium building.

How do I get to Calvary?
Calvary Baptist Church is located at 700 Woodard Ave. in Cleburne, Texas. Click here to view a Google map and receive directions to our facilities.

Where should I park?
The parking lot has dedicated spaces just for our visitors. These spots are marked with signs and are located behind the main auditorium. Visitors can also park anywhere on our facilities.  Additional property has been purchased to add parking in the near future.

Is there childcare?
Yes. There is childcare for 36 months and younger. Experienced childcare workers lovingly supervise children. Pagers are provided to parents of infants 24 months and younger in our Nursery I. Nursery I is located in the main sanctuary. Nursery II (24-36 months) is located in the lower level of the Family Life Center.

How can we find a Sunday School Class?
There are Sunday School classes for birth through senior adults. Nursery I meets in the Main Auditorium. Nursery II, 3 and 4 year olds, and 1st grade classes meet in the Family Life Center lower level (FLC) which is the building adjacent to the sanctuary building. Elementary age classes (2nd&3rd, and 4th&5th) meet on the second floor of Family Life Center (FLC). Preteens (6th graders) through 12 graders meet in the gym of the Family Life Center for an opening assembly.

Adult classes meet in the Main Auditorium with the exception of the College and Career meeting in the 2nd floor of the Family Life Center and the Chapel class which meets in the Chapel building next to the Family Life Center. Sunday school classes begin at 10:00a.m. For more information you may visit with an attendant on Sunday mornings. They are located at the entry of the Family Life Center. What goes on at Calvary on Wednesday nights?
On Wednesday evenings our church family meets for our regular Wednesday night fellowship at 7:00p.m. in the Chapel building. Our children’s program, AWANA, begins at 6:30 p.m. for all children and teenagers. AWANA takes place in the Family Life Center (FLC) gym for children 5th grade and under and in the Mary Martha Class in the main auditorium for the teenagers 6th grade through 12th grade.  All are dismissed at 8:15p.m.
